ODD Update

Several Projects has past by lately, for instance we have manufactured and supplied an Rotating Converter Container to ABB. This will be used in Karlskrona to allow connection ofTopaz Installer to the electricity networks ashore. Modelling and design has been done in close co-operation with ABB.
The container is designed considering to be able to be transported as a standard 10′ container (no protruding parts that are all built in the recesses).
All installation and “outfitting” is made according to “vessel standard”

ODD boasts an international staff who are committed to deliver cost effective technical solutions on time with a clear focus on planning whilst preparing for the unexpected and adapting our workforce to suit the changing environment that often goes hand in hand with Ship Repair.

We offer our customers a high level of service, which is supported by “in house” technical expertise that has been gained after decades of hands on experience within the shipping industry by our staff and, in addition to the more traditional workshops e.g. Steel / Pipe / Mechanical and Machining. We also have a fully equipped GRE workshop on site and a large network of specialized sub-constructors readily available to serve our customer’s needs.

Projects successfully completed in recent years range from complete scrubber installations to total refurbishment of the accommodation spaces and entertainment facilities on board cruise ships and RoPax vessels, not to mention annual dry dockings and emergency ship repairs.

The marketing department we will continue to visit as many of our customers as possible during spring. You can also meet us at “Sjöfartens dag” in the island of Åland in May, and of course you’ll find us at SMM in September.

In the meantime, Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Linked In for weekly updates what’s happening at Oresund Drydocks.
